Firefighting 1 & 2

Would you like the adrenaline rush of being a Firefighter? Students will learn hands-on, practical skills in firefighter safety, fire behavior, building construction, personal protective equipment, fire streams, fire control, fire detection, alarm and suppression systems, loss control, and communications. Students will be exposed to authentic experiences with local fire departments and an onsite fire apparatus. Students may also have the opportunity to obtain their FF1 Certification.

Firefighting 3 & 4

This program is designed to provide advanced training in firefighting skills such as extinguishing liquid and gas/vapor fueled fires, auto extrication, hazardous materials response practices, advanced search and rescue skills and team leadership skills. Students will have the opportunity to test for the State of Colorado HazMat Awareness/Operations certification.
