In the firefighting program, students are prepared for a rewarding and exciting career in fire service. The two year program covers the content & skills necessary to gain the firefighter 1 certification.
The bulk of the program classes "on the drill ground" where students have the opportunity to learn hands-on skills.
Real Life Experience
Firefighting students practice forcible entry techniques using a demolition saw to simulate cutting through security bars.
We provide the students with many hands on experiences in firefighting.

Students physically train to help them meet the physical demands required to become a firefighter

Training Under Stress
Knowing everything about the airpack (SCBA, self contained breathing apparatus) is critical to firefighter survival in a hostile environment. Students practice assembling their airpacks with limited visibility and sense of touch.
