ProStart 1 & 2
ProStart is a nationally-certified, college-prep culinary arts and business management program. In the class, students become ServSafe certified food handlers, as well as learn a variety of culinary techniques and skills, engage in proper customer service techniques, and learn basic food service business management. After completing both semesters, students possess the knowledge and resources to obtain jobs and internships in a broad spectrum of hospitality-based businesses.
Baking & Pastry Applications 1 & 2
This course is designed to expose students to advanced techniques of baking and pastry, combining creativity with food science to produce ornate and delicious pastries and baked goods.
Successful completion of ProStart 1&2 is a prerequisite for enrollment in this course.
